Seiser Alm

During my last trip to Italy I had the opportunity to visit four different places , the two of them for the first time. One of those is Alpe di Siusi – Seiser Alm where I stayed for two nights and I tried to take as many photos as I could during sunset and sunrise. It is located in South Tyrol in the Dolomites range and it is the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. The area of Seiser Alm is private in some way and you are  allowed to get there only on foot unless you stay inside the area in one of the hotels, then you can use your car. Most of the people leave their car at the parking of Compaccio which is about 50 minutes walk to the most well known photographic spots. It is a single exposure image taken  few minutes before the sunrise with the Nikon D610 , the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. The settings I used for this image are : 30sec – f/16 – ISO 100 and a 10-stop ND filter.
